continuing medical education

WNICER has the infrastructure in place to provide and/or facilitate continuing medical education. The services we provide include:

​

  • recruiting faculty to set objectives and develop the slide deck

  • recruiting faculty to present the talk nation-wide and internationally

  • applying for accreditation from various accreditation bodies in which the CME will be offered

  • event management and logistics

  • communication and marketing

  • financial management

  • stakeholder relations

  • program evaluation

SCIENTIFIC COLLOQUIA

​

WNICER runs scientific colloquia with the following aims:

​

  • answering important scientific questions

  • developing collaborative reasearch

  • publishing high level publications in high impact journals

  • developing CME content

  • sharing education with collegues in the medical and related fields

​

We are planning an Inflammation in Atherothrombotic Cardiovascular Disease conclave that will be held in October 2020 in Boston. Program co-chairs are Drs. Robert Rosenson, Michael Farkouh, and Peter Libby.

We welcome unrestricted educational grants from industry. Sponsoring companies will invited to send delegates to this invitation-only think tank session.

late-breaking trial discussions

​

WNICER and its partners host roundtable dinner sessions to discuss late-breaking trials at all major cardiology meetings (ACC, AHA and ESC). These sessions are typically funded through unrestricted educational grants from pharma.
